Compressor Inlet Housing
# Compressor Inlet Housing
Compressor inlet housings are among the more complex die casting geometries: they incorporate inlet flow passages, mounting flanges, fastener bosses, and often integral filter seats -all in a single casting that must be dimensionally accurate, structurally sound, and pressure-tight at the inlet sealing faces.
KastMfg produces compressor inlet housings in ADC12 aluminum alloy using cold-chamber HPDC. The inlet flow passages are formed by die-side cores, with post-casting CNC machining of sealing faces, port threads, and mounting hole patterns. For applications requiring T6 heat treatment -improving tensile strength from 310 MPa to approximately 340 MPa -vacuum-assisted die casting is available to minimize porosity and prevent blistering during solution treatment.

These slots now use your current asset library, and they can be replaced product by product as you add more dedicated photos.

Secondary Product Angle
Use a second hero-quality image from another angle or orientation to show wall thickness, geometry depth, or mounting features.
Best as a clean tabletop component photo

Machined / Finished Detail
Add a close-up of machined bores, sealing faces, threads, coating finish, or critical dimensional features.
Best as a detail crop or macro shot

Application Context Photo
Reserve one slot for the component installed in an assembly, tooling fixture, or end-use product context.
Best as an in-application photo
